Welcome to the Citizens Advice section of the General Council of the Judiciary.

Here you will find information on the Council's Citizens Advice Unit, and on the advice bureaus located in courts of law.

You will also have access to various brochures explaining formalities and proceedings which do not require legal aid, such as trials for minor offences, witness participation in civil and criminal proceedings, the right to free justice, etc.

Additionally, you will find the Bill of Citizens' Rights on Justice and, as required by one of its sections, the regulations on claims and complaints concerning the running of the administration of justice. .

If you wish to submit a claim, make a complaint or a suggestion, you can use the online form provided in the relevant section, where you will also find information on other possible ways to submit these.
