Demarcation and judicial bodies
Law 38/1988, of 28 December, on Demarcation and Judicial bodies, by completely configuring all the judicial bodies designed by the Organic Law on the Judiciary, brings together the different jurisdictional areas in a balanced manner, making the principle of judicial unity a reality. At the same time, it represents a reaffirmation of the all-embracing nature of the civil judicial sphere and the principle of safeguarding fundamental rights in the criminal system. It further affirms the executive’s desire to facilitate an effective jurisdictional control of its administrative activity in the administrative system and ensure the effective protection of claims brought before the chambers for labour matters in the area of employment law.
