The Council draws up yearly reports where fatality cases in the domestic field are analysed since the year 2001 with the aim of finding out if the victims had received an adequate legal response in cases where they would have previously reported their aggressor. Since 2009, the reports focused in the analysis of fatalities in the field of the partner or ex-partner and they include a specific study of the judicial procedures involved when reports would have been submitted or when official proceedings would have been previously practiced with the result of death.
