What is the HCJ La Rioja?

The La Rioja Superior Court of Justice constitutes a judicial authority belonging to the general structure of the Judiciary appertaining exclusively to the State, adapted to its territorial jurisdiction.

The law grants it jurisdictional authority in cassation as the superior organ of the judicial organization in the autonomous community. It is the court of last instance in the autonomous community and all proceedings initiated in the region are thus finalized in it, without affecting the competence reserved for the Supreme Court.

The seat of the High Court of La Rioja is in the centre of Logroño, capital of La Rioja. Close to the emblematic Espolón, its main entrance is on Calle Víctor Pradera, 2.
