Electronic Registry

The electronic registry facilitates the presentation of documents relating to proceedings, which the General Council of the Judiciary is responsible for processing.

Along with the data provided in the corresponding form, documents in electronic format can be attached. If a specific procedure is not available, it is always possible to present any document via “Other procedures”.

In order to use the electronic registry, a digital certificate is required, which is issued by one of the following authorities. After receiving the request, the electronic registry will automatically issue an electronically signed receipt, which may be printed, and will contain the information provided by the interested party, the date and time of presentation of the request and the registry entry number.

The electronic registry is in operation 24 hours a day, every day of the year, except for necessary interruptions for technical reasons.

With regards to the calculation of deadlines (link to the calendar of non-working days) this will be done in accordance with the provisions of article 31 of Law 39/2015, of 1 October.

The processing of personal data collected through the electronic registry of the GCJ shall adhere to the General Regulation on Data Protection and other applicable legislation, and the affected parties will be able to exercise their data protection rights before the General Secretariat.
