Documentation, Publications and Libraries

The CENDOJ is responsible for the editorial activity of the General Council of the Judiciary, publishing the training materials of members of the Judiciary.

It designs, processes and corrects texts, converting them into XML format and incorporating them into the Documentary Collection for their subsequent dissemination in digital format.

A style guide has therefore been defined to make its presentation consistent.

The CENDOJ carries out important work in resolving queries on legal information and documentary support, via personalised attention, to all members of the judiciary.

In the case of solved consultations that are considered of most general interest, the CENDOJ draws up thematic dossiers that are disseminated online for their use by all members of the Judiciary, which are incorporated into the personal area of the Documentary Collection.

Management of the network of judicial libraries: This network is integrated by three CGPJ libraries - The Judicial School, the CGPJ Central Headquarters, and Cendoj - and over 100 libraries distributed throughout the different judicial bodies.

The Judicial Documentation Centre coordinates all activities related to the Collective Catalogue of judicial libraries and offers them support with regards to the provision of services and the offer of information and documentation products.
