The Technical Office has a department for each jurisdictional area. Each department can have an Admission section and another section for Studies and Reports. There may be a Technical Office Official in the Fifth Chamber (for Military Matters). The Officials offer their services in the various departments in accordance with their professional specialisation.

Each department has one or more Technical Office Officials who perform coordination duties for members of the Office in the department. They shall be appointed by the President of the Supreme Court, preferably from among Jurists from the Judiciary and they must have at least ten years’ experience in their respective professions.

Under exceptional circumstances, as a temporary measure that is duly justified, at the proposal of the General Council of the Judiciary and having heard the Governing Chamber of the Supreme Court, the Ministry of Justice may assign additional members to the service of the Technical Office for a maximum period of one year.

Each of the departments of the Technical Office is supported by Judicial Administration staff.
