Judicial districts of Aragon

Judicial districts are territorial unities formed by various neighbouring municipalities. Each judicial district has one or more courts which have to resolve the conflicts that arise among the inhabitants of the municipalities which constitute the judicial district. In Aragon there are sixteen judicial districts spread throughout the Community. Six in Huesca, three in Teruel and seven in Saragossa.

The area and delimitation of the judicial districts are determined by the natural regions, the characteristics of the population that have to be attended to and the number of cases that have to be resolved by a single court according to the number of conflicts that arise.
