What is the HCJ Galicia?

The High Court of Justice of Galicia (TSJ) constitutes a judicial instance which forms part of the general structure of the unique Judiciary of the State, adapted to its territorial competence.

It is the highest judicial organ in the territorial scope of the autonomous community, without affecting the jurisdiction that corresponds to the Supreme Court  (article 152 of the Constitution) or those matters that require constitutional guarantees -- competence that corresponds to the Constitutional Court.

The courthouse seat of the High Court is located in the centre of the suburb of A Coruña, in la Plaza de Galicia.

The chairman of the TSJ of Galicia is the highest representative of the Judiciary in the Autonomous.
