The aim of this repository is to make the data on legal proceedings for the corruption-related offences listed below available to the public.

This information will provide knowledge of legal action within the global framework of the fight against corruption.

The information available concerns criminal proceedings for corruption-related offences with a ruling to open an oral trial or to indict; the persons convicted by a final judgment, and those imprisoned for this type of offence.

The data sources are statistical bulletins released by Judicial Administration Clerks, the Ministry of Justice, the General Secretariat of Penitentiary Institutions of the Ministry of the Interior, and the General Directorate for Prison Services of the Regional Government of Catalonia Department of Justice.

The information is updated on a quarterly basis.

The following are considered corruption-related offences for the purposes of this repository:

• Negotiations and activities prohibited to civil servants and on abuse in the exercise of office Arts. 439, 441, 442, 443 and 445 Penal Code
• Misappropriation. Articles 432, 433, 434 and 435 Penal Code
• Bribery. Articles 419, 420, 421 and 422 Penal Code
• Breach of duty by public servants. Articles 404, 405 and 408 Penal Code
• Land and urban planning. Article 320 Penal Code
• Historical heritage. Article 322 PC
• Disloyalty in the custody of documents and violation of secrets. Articles 413, 414, 415, 416, 417 and 418 Penal Code
• Influence peddling. Articles 428, 429 and 430 Penal Code
• Fraud and illegal taxation. Articles 436, 437, 438 and 438 bis Penal Code
• Intellectual and industrial property, market and consumers (corruption in business) Article 286 ter. PC
