General Information

With regard to the system for the provision of posts, the basic criterion for the Courts, Courts of Appeals and High Courts of Justice is still that of seniority. This does not avoid, however, the introduction of specialisation as a system of promotion within the judiciary, it being, on the one hand, necessary in view of the magnitude and complexity of legislation today, and on the other hand, useful for introducing elements of stimulus into the permanent training of judges and magistrates.
